Stitching

At Shane's Shoe Repairs, we specialize in bringing your shoes back to life with our expert stitching service. Whether it's a loose seam or worn-out stitch, our skilled craftsmen ensure your shoes are restored with precision and care.

For tramping boots, we offer two repair options:

  1. Lining Stitching - LS. A faster and more affordable option, stitching through the lining. This method is efficient but leaves small needle holes in the lining and visible stitching inside the heel.
  2. Tongue Gusset Stitching - GS. A more intricate repair that involves unpicking the tongue gussets to avoid stitching through membranes or compressing foam. This process maintains waterproofing and comfort with no needle holes or interior threads, but takes longer and is more expensive.

2-3 days plus courier time. Please let us know if you need them sooner.

  • Find the repair you need and add to cart. When you are ready to checkout. Click the bag in the top right corner and check out.
  • A confirmation email will be sent to you with our address.
  • Send your items to be repaired to us with the repair number on the address label.
  • At the moment you pay for shipping to us and we charge $9.50 to ship back to you or free return courier if you spend over $100.
