True Craftsmen

It is great to know there are true craftsmen still operating in NZ. The build up on my shoes was perfect. In my opinion the thoughtful selection of materials added to the look rather than be just a chunk of extra height.

Right Shoe Buildup Keeps me Level

After having a total right hip replacement my leg was found to be 3 Centimeters shorter than the left leg. I went to Shane's for help and asked which makes of shoes could he build up the sole to help me walk on a level plane which he did. I have had 6 or 7 pairs of shoes right foot raises. It is especially important for walking over uneven ground, as I was given inserts which gave the shoe poor grip of the foot and stability when walking on uneven ground. I've also bought walking boots which Shane has raised the right sole, especially helpful for the steep hills on my Trapline run I do on a hill farm for the Whakatane Kiwi Trust
