DIFFICULTY OPTIONS:
Standard - normal soft leather shoe
Tricky - hard leather shoes, boots or where height of toes and arch is needed
Extra Tricky - dress boot calf or similar
Horse boot calf - hard leather calf area or riding boots

Stretching calves of long boots depends on

  1. how much stretch is needed
  2. how likely the boot upper is to stretch, leather is best, some leathers are better
  3. whether there are zips or gussets that need reinforcing before going on the stretcher
  4. colour - with dark colours we can use stretch spray

The service at Shane’s shoes is awesome,and friendly,but the attempt at shoe stretching was not satisfactory, .the ankle opening was stretched but not the toe area that was requested to be stretched.i wouldn’t suggest people get their hopes up on stretching their favourite shoes

I am very happy with the refurb done on my boots and as I'm from Katikati, to have a same day service was really important to me. The service was, as always impeccable and extremely efficient. So pleased

I just wanted to let you know I received my boots yesterday and was so pleased with the repair. It is a lot of money to repair them but they are looking better than brand new and as you know they were very expensive boots originally. Yes sure, check out the Zip Repairs page. Then either send your boots, bag or shoes to us and we will contact you when they arrive. Or send a photo for a quote if it’s not mentioned.

2-3 days plus courier time. Please let us know if you need them sooner.

  • A confirmation email will be sent to you with our address.
  • Send your items to be repaired to us with the repair number on the address label.
  • At the moment you pay for shipping to us and we charge $9.50 to ship back to you.
